Stargaze is an installation that brings our focus back to the night sky. Through a network of interconnected lights, it brings the celestial bodies which have been lost in the city back into our view.

A series of beacons are suspended above and along the alley through a network of tensioned cables and anchor points. The beacons are constructed out of lightweight and translucent materials, each containing a light source programmed to the character and quality of faraway stars light years away.

Subtly shifting with the light of day and the dark of night, Stargaze provides a passageway that is both contemplative and playful at the same time.
